Every year in October, when the mountains begin their annual display of colors, Lakefront Church of God buzzes with the excitement of its annual Harvest Festival. The church attracts hundreds each year to the grounds around Lakefront Church; where volunteers work tirelessly stripping the sugar cane and making it into sorghum. In addition to this age old art, there are all day gospel music concerts, games, crafts, auctions, a petting zoo, Appalachian foods, hog roast, Dutch oven cooking, and so much more. This year, the sugar cane came in early due to a great growing year that the Lord blessed us with. The festival will be held Oct. 1st, 2016 from 10AM-5PM. Come out and join us for tons of fun.
